Mechanic Job Change Guide – Ragnarok Online

Again one of the simplest job change quest there is in the game. Let your glowing level 99 Blacksmith/Mastersmith head out to Juno, talk to 2 NPC and run around Juperos map. You’ll even get free warp back to Juno town to make it more less challenging. Caution with Harpies and Dimik though, when in mob they’re very troublesome, so aside from those mobs it’s just a walk in the park. Details of the job change quest in the following steps below.

Requirements:

• Base Level 99 Blacksmith or Mastersmith
• Job Level 50 Blacksmith
• Job Level 60 - 70 Mastersmith

The quest will let you learn about the history of the Mechanics, those who delve in magic and machinery to fight in battle. When you become a Mechanic you will have skills that concentrate on Axe masteries and Machine related gears. It’s a fun and very versatile fighter whether in PVP, MVP or guild wars.

1. Go to Juno and speak with Chainheart (129, 156). He will tell you about a story about Mechanics. Continue to talk to him until He tells you about Franklson, a scholar from Schwaltzvalt Republic who is the pioneer of Mechanics.

This is what I’m talking about with the mobs. Careful with these nasty enemies.

2. Enter the Juperos Ruins (from Juno town, exit the south portal, then south, then east) head to the center of Juperos Ruins (yuno_fild07) and enter the portal.

3. Go straight through the tunnel until you meet a Scholar in jupe_cave 37, 55. Talk to him and until he asks you if you are ready.


4. Again careful with Dimik mobs. Once inside talk to Ghostfire (jupe_core2 149, 273). It will instruct you to kill any monster around to concentrate with your conversation.   



5. Talk to the next ghostfire (jupe_core2  53, 75) at the 8 o’clock of the the map. Same instructions as the first ghostfire.


 

6.  Speak with the last ghostfire (jupe_core2  242, 62) at the 4 O’clock of the map. Again same instruction as the 2 previous ghostfires. This will also be the last ghostfire you will be talking to.




7. Go back to west at 9 o’clock of map and stand on the switch (jupe_core2  29,150). A pop up message will appear. Head towards east of the map and activate the 2nd switch (jupe_core2 272, 149).

 

8. At 3 o’clock in the map look for a Statue and walk towards it's left side. A message will pop up and that’s your queue to go to the last switch.

 



9. Troop to the south of the map and step inside the switch to activate it. Then a pop up message will come out, at this time the quest is almost finish.
  

10. Go Back to the first ghostfire (jupe_core2 149, 273) and it will war you back to Juno Town.

 



11. Lastly go back to Chainheart in Juno Town (129, 156) and have a quick conversation with him. He then changes you into a 3rd job. Congratulations! You are now a Mechanic.
