Observe
Michael V. is certainly a timeless comedian and people would refer to him as inherently genius. With his funny skits, unique character portrayals and his bone tickling jokes. You might wonder, where do these people get their creative fuel from—Observation. The household comedian shares that he simply keeps close attention to the things around him. Observation is very different from merely looking at something. It gives you insight on details and opens up character of a chosen subject. How things are done and how they turned out in what they are now. This brings you better ideas and will widen things that you can add to your craft.Perspective
“How Things Are Made” from Discovery Channel is one of my favorite shows when channel surfing. Everyday objects that we just take for granted gives a whole new perspective to these seemingly ordinary stuff. Being mundane and routine dulls our creative thinking, I for one is a victim. To break from that state of mind, I try to be in the attitude of expectation, that something good will certainly happen today. More often than not I’m not disappointed. Look at something in a different and unique way… If we change our perspective on how we look at everyday things and use this as a tool to appreciate what we’re doing and how it affects others’ lives, ideas will certainly flow on how we can make everyday special.Inspiration
There should be a thing that motivates us to create something. A desire to accomplish an objective without faltering to timidness and mediocrity. It may be a love one, specific goal in life or anything which drives us to do better than what we currently are. In my opinion, this should be a must if you what to innovate and deviate from current worldly standards. Creativity is something that is born from an inspiration. How can we improve something (creativity) if in the first place there’s nothing to fuel the fire with?Practice
Practice doesn’t make perfect in some instance, but it surely makes us better. One Nike ad tells about practicing your weakness until it becomes your strength, then practicing your strength until it becomes second nature. Be aware of strong points because this is what keeps us going and steady in the race, while also improving our weakness because this will make us ahead. As Rock Lee would say, "If I can't do 400 push-ups, I'll hit the dummy 800 times! If I can't hit the dummy 800 times, I'll do 2000 jump ropes…"Share
“In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.” -Matthew 5:16. The masterpiece that you create should not be collecting dust in your portfolio. There are a lot of ways how to showoff your creativity, one way is the internet. Another would be joining contests. Whatever the means to do so, try collecting as much information you can. Insights and opinions from others of similar fields, novices in the hobby, or hardcore professionals, give big incentives on what areas to develop and new things to try. Don’t be scared of criticism, take it constructively to bring forth more creative ideas! Thanks for reading.
